Right-wingers find themselves in the unfortunate situation of being oppressed. Not through violence (if one disregards the state's monopoly on violence), but through how control over thought is used against the population.
Legacy media, universities, and unions are dominated by left-wing individuals, and these influence large segments of the population towards the left. This is what creates the oppression of right-wingers, individuals who have not been swayed leftward but have held fast to the principles of freedom. This oppression manifests itself through all major political parties, both right and left, positioning themselves to the left on the left-right spectrum (i.e., the scale that dictates how much power the public sector should have, for example, how high taxes should be) because they want to be elected by a left-leaning populace. Since they've positioned themselves to the left, they will always pursue left-wing policies. No significant tax cuts are in sight! Right-wingers have no representatives to vote for who have a chance of making their country radically right-wing, meaning significantly lower taxes.
In the perfect democracy, all citizens would have had an equal amount of real power over decisions, that is, in voting in elections, regarding where the country should be on the left-right spectrum. Today, the influence cliques, namely the few people working in legacy media, universities, unions, have much more power than the rest of the populace. This is because they have used their dominance to shift the population's thought towards the left. Therefore, in reality, they have had more control over politics than everyone else in the population. For all citizens to have equal power over politics, there needs to be as many right-wingers as left-wingers in legacy media, universities, unions. Then, the population would not be influenced either to the right or the left by these cliques. No extra political power would then fall to this clique. We want perfect democracy in this way, and we are not ashamed to seek perfection and justice.
That right-wingers are besieged by left-wingers in the influence cliques is evident when they are insulted but apathetically do not resist when their names are tarnished. I am talking about the incorrect use of the term "right-wing extremist." Today, someone who is extremely right-wing can be someone who wants extremely low taxes but also someone who is racist. But how should one define someone who wants high taxes and is racist? Both left and right at the same time? It doesn't work. The definition of "right" and "left" must be logically sustainable. The logically sustainable definition is that "right" means "wants low taxes," without also meaning racism. So, a party that wants high taxes and is racist should therefore be called "left-wing extremist" and not, as currently, "right-wing extremist." This is where the insult comes into play: right-wingers do not protest when they are insulted by being associated with racism, which happens when racist left-wingers are wrongly called "right-wing extremists." A mildly right-wing person is indirectly insulted in this case because those who are mildly right-wing are ideological relatives to those who are extremely right-wing. The right needs to rise up and stand for its good name!
We are some who need to lead the right to rise up and throw off the shackles that bind them. The plan is to get right-wingers to hold as much power in the influence cliques as left-wingers do, and to use this power to influence the population in their direction to the same degree as the left. The greatest impact would be to get young right-wingers to choose a career within the influence cliques. Perhaps this could be achieved by working on the political youth organizations or advertising among them.
Perhaps the left's dominance over unions needs to be addressed. A new union could be started that is as right-wing as the left-wing unions are left-wing.
Can this revolt be carried out? Revolts and revolutions have been successful throughout history, and inspiration can be drawn from these. Martin Luther King's leadership in the civil rights movement for African Americans is a good start, which is well described at the beginning of his autobiography. Gandhi's leadership, including through the Salt March, in how they peacefully revolted and stopped Britain's power over India, is also good to study.
Right-wingers are oppressed by the left in the influence cliques. This right should peacefully rise up, resist, and bring about change. This is needed for right-wingers to be free and democratically equal to the rest of the population.
